With a Name Like Hitler, it has to be good

So, there's a new restaurant in India called Hitler's Cross.

“We wanted to be different. This is one name that will stay in people’s minds,” owner Punit Shablok told Reuters. “We are not promoting Hitler. But we want to tell people we are different in the way he was different.”

Hmmm. Different in that genocide, crazy on meth invading countries and starting wars way? Or maybe he just had an unusual flare for spicing his sauces that we're all unaware of.

Hey honey, let's get takeout from Hitler's tonight. Oh, my.

NY Reading

The Reading at The Half King was a kick...people there are great, and if any of you get the chance to go, you should...

Also, the weather was great in NY...got to see my agent who i had seen in years and meet my foreign rights agent who is smart and beautiful and if she can't sell my book to those countries other than rockin France (who already has), well there's something wrong with the countries or the book.

A great trip--saw family, met my new nephew (who's enormous...he will crush us all) and got to hang with many old and new friends in the big town.

Glad to be back though. Gayle to hang with...Amps to fix. Stray cats to feed in the yard. And, of yeah, the new book to work on.

NY Reading, August 14th!

Sorry for the lack of posts...have been working on the new book and, in general, not keeping up with stuff...

For those of you who wouldn't mind spreading the word to your pals on the other coast :)

i'm reading from MORE THAN THEY COULD CHEW (maybe the famed love/enema scene, or the fetal pig selling scene, i haven't decided), and a new section from my in-progress novel-in-stories (a story called INTERSTATE at the moment)...about selling blood and a meth deal gone bad...bring the kids...

anyway, the scoop, the skinny, the inside dope from the inside dope himself: The reading is AUG 14th at 7PM at Sebastian Junger's (The Perfect Storm) bar/restaurant THE HALF KING...should be a fun night...spread the word :)
